South Carolina
Aristocracy & Wealth Reign
proprietary colony on the rise
Anthony Ashley Cooper, Earl of Shaftesbury drafted the Fundamental Constitutions for the new colony of South Carolina. These Constitutions reflected the liberal views, and the right protecting principles, despite being a colony ran on slave labor.
War
We moved to South Carolina to take advantage of the ever fertile soil, Charleston boasted a growing season of nearly 295 days each year. In the early days however, there was much unrest with the Indians over trade. While this was transpiring, we also utilized Indian slaves and African slaves.
