Cougar Connection
St. Columba Catholic School - News every Friday - 1/22/21
It definitely has started to feel like winter this week! We had a few sprinkles of rain these last couple of days during recess time and I think the kids all thought they were going to get washed away! It was definitely fun to see their reactions and enjoy the fleeting moment of "weather" in San Diego.
Next week, however, is supposed to be a lot of actual real rain, so please be sure that your children are prepared. That also includes having their names written inside their jackets so that they do not lose them!
Please be patient with us next week during drop off and dismissal if it is raining because everything will be moving a bit slower.
The third quarter is now officially underway! As we move into the second half of the school year, please be sure to reach out to your child's teacher if you have any concerns or thoughts for the rest of the year.
Next week, we will be doing STAR testing for our online students, as well as any makeups for students on campus.
Here is a look ahead at the upcoming events on campus:
- Monday, January 25:
- Tuesday, January 26:
- Wednesday, January 27:
- Thursday, January 28:
- Friday, January 29: K-8 1/2 Day
Blessings,
Mr. Amann
