Kids at Hope Week is November 8th-12th
Remember we this week is 'Kids at Hope' Spirit Week. Here's how we will celebrate the rest of the week:
Wednesday: Pajama Day – We dream big!
Thursday: NO SCHOOL – Veterans Day
Friday: Color Block Day – Color Us Hopeful!
Each grade level wears a color of the rainbow:
Kinder: shades of red
1st grade: shades of orange
2nd grade: shades of yellow
3rd grade: shades of green
4th grade: shades of blue
5th grade: shades of purple

Substitutes Needed
Are you or do you know anyone who is looking for work, our district has many openings at all levels. The state has just waived the requirement of an Associates degree or passing the para test in order to work as a paraeducator.

NATIVE AMERICAN HERITAGE MONTH
November is Native American Heritage Month, which gives us all the opportunity to celebrate the rich and diverse cultures, traditions, histories, and contributions of the Indigenous people of this land.
The Franklin Pierce School District, which is on the traditional lands of the Puyallup Tribe of Indians, honors and respects our students and families with Native American heritage. Our Native American Education Program, which provides cultural and educational support to students in every school in our district. The district has approximately 225 students with Native American heritage representing over 45 different tribes in the United States.

The health room is still in need gently used Kinder through Second grade sized pants for those unexpected accidents.
