Sexism
Equality within today's society has become an ascending issue and additional efforts have been put into demolishing sexism wordwide in recent years. Countries such as Yemen, Chad, Pakistan, Mali and Syria all have made education amongst women and basic civil rights illegal. A Pakstani advocat by the name of Malala Yousafzai has been an activist for womans rights in the Middle East and she was the youngest winner of the Noble Peace. Her focus is too allow women in the Northwest Pakistan to get a full education and her beliefs have spread worldwide. Malala and her family run a chain of schools in Pakistan, promoting girls and women to take up a proper education. Because of her viewers, Malala was shot 3 times in the face by a gunman who was part of the Taliban on the 9th of October 2012. This caused widespread attention and support for Malala. Like Malala, there are many hard-working egalitarians for women's equality all of the globe who strive for equality. Educating individuals about sexism and the effects of sexism can prevent the continuous chain of sexism worldwide.
