Professional Learning: K-2 Foundations
Schools that are implementing Istation, Saxon Phonics, Write Source, and Open Court will be offered another round of professional learning tentatively scheduled for January. Specific details will be forthcoming.
Instructional Coaches Book Study
We will embark on a book study next semester using Writing Pathways by Lucy Calkins. The learning will target the following instructional tools:
- Learning progressions
- On-demand writing prompts
- Student checklists
- Rubrics
- Student writing samples
- Exemplars
