Greetings LGAM Families,
We are excited to announce our Parent/Teacher Conferences will begin next week on Wednesday, September 29th and continue on Thursday, September 29th.
This is a great opportunity to meet your child's teachers and learn all about their academic progress, how they are adjusting to in-person learning, and goals for the next grading period.
Here are a few helpful tips to help you prepare for your conference!
CHECKLIST: BEFORE THE CONFERENCE
- Review your child's schedule to make sure you know all their teachers
- Schedule a time to meet by clicking here. If you can't go at the scheduled time, ask the teacher about other times
- Review your child's work/grades on Google Classroom & Infinite Campus
- Make sure to schedule a conference in the classes that have a low grade
- Talk with your child about his or her progress in school & check their binder
- Make a list of questions to ask during conferences & important information you would like to share with teachers
- Think about ways you can support and be involved in your child's learning so you can discuss them with your teacher(s)
- Feel free to invite your child to be a part of the conference so they are able to learn about their progress and speak with their teachers
- Send the teacher(s) an email if you are unable to make your appointment
Thank you so much for your continued support and we look forward to connecting with you during conferences!
LET'S MAKE SURE WE GET TO ALL CLASSES ON TIME DURING THE SCHOOL DAY!

In addition to the report card and classroom tests, parents can use the ELPAC Report Card to better understand their child's progress in learning English to start a conversation with their teacher about how to further support learning at home.
Parents can use these resources to have a productive conversation with their child's teacher and to find resources that support their child's learning at home.

Arrival to School: Students should plan to arrive at school no earlier than 8:00 a.m. Staff supervision begins at 8:05 AM; students should NOT arrive at school earlier unless enrolled with the ELP Program (see information below).
School Dismissal: At the end of the school day students are expected to either leave campus & go home or sign into a supervised after school activity. Loitering on or around school grounds is not permitted. Students need to be off grounds by 3:30 p.m. (1:28 p.m. on minimum days) or in a supervised activity. Administration will contact the parents/guardians of students who repeatedly remain on or around campus after school to request that they make arrangements for their child’s proper supervision after dismissal.
We are seeing an increase in crimes and unsafe activity after school. After certain hours, we will not have supervision at the park and on campus. Please support admin with reminding your child(ren) go straight home after school and do not remain at the skate park too late.
Our new order of P.E. clothes has arrived! We will be selling them during morning drop-off and after school during dismissal near the main office under the tent.
Please bring CASH ONLY.
