STAAR Testing...done!

We are so thankful to be done with STAAR testing for the year! We are very proud at how hard each and every student worked this week. We have all sighed a big sigh of relief!

We wanted to let you know that because the testing is so late this year, results will not be out until mid-June. As soon as we get the results, you will have them mailed to you.

Field Trip: Thank you!

Thank you to our awesome chaperones for helping out at the field trip this week. Our trip wouldn't have been as successful as it was without you there!

We also want to give a big thanks to those who brought water and popsicles for us to enjoy at the park. You are appreciated! :)

Gator Games

Another successful Gator Games in the books! We had a lot of fun today, but BOY are we exhausted! Special thanks to Coach Maupin and Miss McHugh for organizing the day, PTA for organizing the shaved ice and providing lunch for all students, and for all parents who donated items or their time to make Gator Games the awesome day it was, especially Mrs. Towery!

Cafeteria - Paying for LUnch

We wanted you to be aware that children are no longer allowed to charge their lunch if they have no money in their account. In order for children to purchase the regular lunch, they must have enough money in their account. If they do not, they will be given the cheese sandwich and sides for lunch. This is an end-of-year procedure. Thank you!

Plans for Next Year

In order for us to keep teachers in their current positions and hire extra teachers needed for next year, we really need to know if families will be returning to Glenhope or not next year. If you could take a minute or two to fill out the survey below, it would really help us with staffing plans over the summer. The later we have to wait to hire teachers, the less quality of teachers available!
