Voter Registration Drive -- Volueers needed!

"I know what you’re thinking… The Presidential Election is almost 9 months away – some of us will be graduated by then! But, did you know th the Primary Election, the vote to pick the presidential nominees, will happen before the end of this semester?

Millennials have just surpassed baby boomers as the largest segment of the voting population, and we have the chance to make a major impact in this election! But, we have to actually vote.

So, how do you get registered? At a campus-wide Voter Registration Drive, of course! Tables will be set up across campus where other students can help you register to vote, request an absentee ballot, change your voting address, or figure out which of the twenty-plus candidates running is the best match for you.

When: February 9, 10, and 11; 10am-2pm

Where: Galvin Hall, Reed Hall, Life and Sciences Building, Public Services Building, and Technical Education Laboratory

Registering to vote takes five minutes or less, and is the easiest thing you can do to make a difference in your world. Please stop by one of the Voter Registration tables, and make your voice heard!

**If you would like to volunteer to help register voters, please contact April Nester at nester.53@buckeyemail.osu.edu. Volunteers will receive training, develop some valuable and unique skills, and gain a nice addition to their resumes!**"

Social Work Club

The Social Work Club will be collecting new and gently used blankets to be distributed to the homeless and those in need. The collection drive will close on January 28, 2016 with the volunteers creating a human quilt to “cover the quad” will all blankets collected.
