Thank You to Our Tremendous Community Partners!
Thank you to our tremendous community partners and our incredibly generous community for recent back-to-school supply drives!
We want to thank the entire West Linn-Wilsonville community for donating school supply resources that will allow our students to thrive this school year.
A special thank you goes out to Heart of the City, Grace Chapel Church, Wilsonville Fred Meyer, the West Linn Chamber of Commerce, West Linn Police Department, West Linn Public Library, Willamette Valley Bank, Pacific West Bank, Bloomin’ Boutique, West Linn-located Starbucks, First Student, KGW, and to all of the other local organizations that played a part in collecting school supplies.
We are incredibly fortunate to work alongside such wonderfully supportive communities. Thank you for helping us create learning environments for the greatest thinkers and most thoughtful people… for the world.
Time To Update Your ListServ Subscriptions!
With the start of the 2019-20 school year fast approaching, now is a great time to update your ListServ subscriptions. Make sure to access your ListServ subscriptions and subscribe to your new school if you have a student graduating or changing schools. And don't forget to subscribe to WLWV-Homes to keep up-to-date on important District-level information.
ListServ is the primary method that West Linn-Wilsonville schools communicate with families, sending regular newsletters, timely information, and even emergency notifications. To sign up to get news from your school, simply go to www2.wlwv.k12.or.us/News/LatestNews/ListservSS/ and follow the directions. Don’t forget to subscribe to WLWV Homes to get information from the district office!
Volunteer in WLWV Schools!
The West Linn-Wilsonville School District uses HelpCounter for volunteer registration and sign-in to increase safety and security for all students. Interested volunteers can register to volunteer in WLWV schools by visiting the Volunteer Registration webpage. Simply select 'Start' to fill out your application, which includes a background check. The first time that volunteers sign-in to volunteer at any WLWV school they will be prompted to accept a Volunteer Agreement.
Volunteers must also re-register every three years, or when volunteering at a new school. Note that volunteer coaches register through a different process. Contact your school's athletic director or principal for more information.
Volunteering in WLWV schools is an extremely rewarding experience. Your time is greatly appreciated by both staff and students!
