Join Board Certified Behavior Analyst, Jessica Thompson, for an informative and fun night of learning. Jessica will share more about what Applied Behavior Analysis is, why it is used and how it can be so powerful and successful with your child. She will delve into the 7 pivotal steps to supporting your child in their ability to self-regulate and manage their behavior in the home and will be available to answer questions you may have along the way.
Jessica B. Thompson, M.Ed., BCBA, LABA, earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology, with a concentration in criminal justice and social services, from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. She received her Masters in Special Education and Applied Behavior Analysis from Endicott College. Jessica began her career working with adolescence 10-18, experiencing emotional and behavioral disturbances, first at the Walker Home and School and then for the Lexington Public School System. Her interest in Applied Behavior Analysis began and was fostered while working with individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders at Melmark New England in Andover, MA. During her 7 years at Melmark, Jessica found special interest in staffing training and organizational behavior management, vocational programming and transition planning and severe problem behavior. She began at Constellations Behavioral Services in 2015 and was promoted to Director of School Services in 2021. During her time with CBS she has contributed significantly to the organization’s School Based Staff Experience Program including development and refinement of onboarding and training systems as well as bridging OBM and educational practices.
