Highlights from this past week

This past week was reading week so our students were able to experience the love of story-telling through the gift of time donated by a variety of virtually presented guest readers. We are grateful for their time and our students truly enjoyed this opportunity as well.

We had School Student photos and Class photos on Tuesday. - If your child(ren) was/were not able to partake, re-takes will be on October 26th.

On Wednesday, the students and staff dressed up as Twins/Multiples! It was super fun and our students got very creative! We also had our very first assembly of the year hosted virtually by our grade 8 students!

We are happy to re-introduce our "Spin-to-win" program again this year. Each day, students have an opportunity to receive a "student-shout-out" slip for any recognized good deeds around the school. Each shout-out is entered into a raffle - and once a month, at virtual assembly, those students whose names get drawn get to "spin to win" a prize. This week, two of our students got to steal the principal's chair for a day and other great prizes!

If you would like to donate to our "Spin to win" initiative please submit gift cards, etc. to the school's office. We appreciate your support!

Here are a few highlighted moments throughout the week for you to check out.
