From the Principal
Hopefully this message finds you well and in good spirits. Last week was productive as we wrapped up the majority of our required, beginning of the year MAP testing. A huge shout out to Dr. Washington and everyone for all of the efforts to make this as smooth as possible. We will contact families of our Online Flex Learners to schedule makeup assessments as possible. Throughout the week, scholars engaged in instruction and activities and continued taking ownership of their education. We hope that scholars took advantage of the online flex learning day to catch up on any missed assignments since the 1st Nine Weeks came to a close last week.
This week, the 2nd Nine Weeks starts, learning will continue, and scholars in grades 2-5 will take curriculum based assessments created by the district. We will also kick off our Online Scholastic Book Fair, and items will be shipped directly to homes.
While we are not accepting walk-ins at this time, you are encouraged to call the campus and/or email us for assistance. As a reminder, if you need support with accessing your Skyward/Family Access account, please email family.access@chisd.net. All families are encouraged to log in to make sure that email addresses and phone numbers are accurate. If you need assistance and/or have a question about technology, you may email devicesupport@chisd.net, or call the helpline at 469-272-2082.
Be sure to keep the following dates(s) in mind:
- November 9: Free Dress for Scholars w/Perfect Attendance Last Week
