AP Exam Begin May 11th, Today is last day to request tech help:
Below is key information about AP exams this year. More importantly, students should be checking their e-mail that they are registered with through College Board.
Key Points:
- Students are being updated with extensive information through their e-mail used to register with CollegeBoard.
- If a student chooses not to take their AP exam, they will be refunded the full price (less a $40 late fee if they were charged a late registration fee).
- Students will not be charged a $40 cancellation fee if they don't take the exam.
- Students will be provided with an access credential to take their exam/s via e-mail.
- If a student no longer wants to take an exam, they should just ignore all e-mails from CollegeBoard and not take any exam. To be clear: if a student does not want to take an exam, they DO NOTHING.
- The AP Coordinator will be able to see who does not take an exam and then can get refunds issued from there (in June).
- If a student is in need of a device to test with CollegeBoard can help. The student must contact College Board here: https://collegeboard.tfaforms.net/74 by April 24th.

Dual Enrollment Update:
Class of 2020
Earning your diploma news: Semester grades awarded by your teachers will be either Credit (passing) or Incomplete (no credit). Students who make no effort to complete the work will receive an incomplete. An incomplete would not result in credit being granted. If that credit is needed for graduation, the student will need to make up the credit through credit recovery or summer school. If a student meets the criteria in the Executive Order the teacher will make appropriate accommodations.
Class of 2021
Here's some news from Oakland University about how they will deal with the fact that most of you have not taken the SAT yet. More colleges could follow with similar policies:
From OU: In order to help remove barriers to enrollment amid the ongoing public health crisis, Oakland University will now offer test-optional admission for the fall of 2020 and 2021 to students with a cumulative high school GPA of 3.0 or higher.
At this time, we feel that offering test-optional admission is the best way we can support students who have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. We want to be sure we are doing all we can to assist our future students in reaching their goals for postsecondary education, despite the challenges they have faced with delayed or canceled tests.
Oakland University is committed to helping prospective students and their families during this challenging time.

Good Morning Students,
I have received a few emails regarding challenges with getting acclimated to the conference app in Schoology. Please consider doing the following:
- Go into Schoology settings and enable the video and audio.
- If #1 does not solve your issue, please go into the settings of your phone, find the Schoology app, and enable the video and audio.
- Go into Schoology PRIOR to your scheduled meeting and become accustomed to the app. Treat it like you did SnapChat or Tic-Toc when you first logged on. You can explore for hours :).
- If numbers 1-3fail, please phone a friend. Several of you have been successful with Schoology, so please assist your friends.
- Be patient, you can do it.
- Ask your teachers for assistance.
I know that this form of learning is new, but I am confident that you can do it. Enjoy your day!
Mr. Williams
