Kindergarten Class News
January 8-12, 2018
Reading/Language Arts
Character, setting, and events are things that we are looking for when we read stories at school. We continued work on the letter and sound "D" this week as well as the word do. The Kindergarteners are starting to identify the sounds of certain blends such as ch, th, and sh. If you have internet access at home, log in to their reading website and have them read some of our leveled reading material to you. They have all come such a long way in their reading!
Math
This week, the students worked with numbers 17-25; identify and writing, counting, and deciding what comes before, after, and between numbers that fall in this range.
Social Studies
We LOVE to READ!
Please be sure that you are sending snow boots, snow pants, warm coats, hats, and gloves/mittens to school with your student every day. Thank you!
