The Pilgrim church had Quite a few religious differences with the Church of England and the Catholic Church. The main point was: Predestination. The Pilgrims believed that before the foundation of the world, God predestined to make the world, man, and all things. They didn't like the ways of the church so they sailed on the Mayflower to America. They weren't called pilgrims until they started their religious journey to America.
