Absence Procedures
If your child is going to be absent:
A parent or guardian must call 262-692-2401, Ext. 200, to report the reason of absence. Voicemail messages may be left 24 hours a day.
- For your child’s safety, non-reported absences will be followed up by a call home made by school office personnel.
Parents/Guardians:
When you have a change from the regular dismissal routine for your child, please notify the office before 3 pm (Wednesdays by 2:15). Note that the teachers do not have time to check emails after the lunch time for changes in pick-up information. Unless it is an emergency, try to avoid last minute calls or emails to the office after 3pm (Wednesdays 2:15pm) as it makes it difficult to notify teachers. The OES Office Staff will notify the teacher/s of the change. At the end of the day, we are trying to get students ready for home as efficiently as possible for both car pick up and dismissal of our buses!
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Who: Britain’s Finest: Beatles Tribute Band
What: NOSSF Fund Appeal Concert
When: April 15, 2023 at 7:30 p.m.
Where: Fine Arts Center at NOSD, 401 Highland Drive, Fredonia, WI 53021
Why: Have a great time, help out a great cause - OUR STUDENTS!
The Northern Ozaukee Schools’ Scholarship Foundation funds education and learning beyond High School for Seniors every year. This generous scholarship foundation issues scholarships to applicants each spring. Over the past 35 years, the NOSSF has granted over one million dollars in scholarships to our Graduating Seniors. Each year, we raise money through a fund appeal. Last year we held an amazing concert in our NOSD Fine Arts Center. This year we are pleased to announce a Beatles Tribute Band is coming to us! Please buy tickets for this year’s event and help out a good cause. There are two ticket types available with “upper bowl” at $25 and “lower bowl” seating at $40. There is not a bad seat in the house! https://nosd.edu/nossf-event/
Note from School District Nurse:
There are lots of germs/viruses floating around including the common cold, RSV, Influenza and COVID-19. If your child requires any cough drops at school and the cough drop ingredients consist of menthol or other substances, they are considered Over The Counter (OTC) medications and an OTC Medication Authorization Form is required - parent signature only required. These cough drops will be locked in the Health Room and administered by School Nurse or School Health Staff.
Please let us know what questions or concerns you may have! Be Well!
Can you help support OES Dojo Store?
Students learn that positive behavior starts at a very young age and these positive behaviors carry through all areas of life. They start to realize that positive behaviors have a direct effect on their academics. At OES, it is our goal to help students recognize their positive behaviors and acknowledge them for doing what is right. New at OES this year, our students will be able to shop at our new school store with Dojo points they accumulate. The items listed in our Amazon Wishlist will be included in our new school store, and students will have a choice in this commerce system. Items will be added throughout the year.
Thank you for your continued support of our students and their success. -Principal Kucharski
