New Accountant: Gunay Rahimova
Our accountant, Leyla Mammadova, recently finished her Master's degree in coding and was quickly offered a job in her field. We are so excited for her, but also sad to see such a good employee leave our school.
Please help us welcome our new accountant, Gunay Rahimova. She has been here full-time since Wednesday, December 1st. Gunay comes to BIS after 8 years of working in finance and accounting. She has a BA in Economics and an MBA. Gunay has two children, ages 2 and 6. Besides playing with her children, she likes to read and cook when she has time.
We are all looking forward to getting to know her and working with her.

COVID Update
Thank you to parents for notifying the school when your child tests positive. Our goal is to keep the school open and the community safe and healthy. Everyone at BIS appreciates your help and understanding.
COVID-19 Vaccinated Students and Staff Quarantine Policy
Vaccinated Staff and Students Quarantine Policy
The BIS Advisory Board decided that fully vaccinated students and teachers who are first-level contacts can return to campus after a week and a negative COVID test. This is in line with government regulations for vaccinated people. This does not apply to a positive case in the class.
If there's a COVID positive case in a class, then the whole class must quarantine for 14 days. This is required by the Ministry of Education. Please see the document below for more information.
If your child has been vaccinated, please send Sevda a copy of their vaccine card.
