Invent to Learn!
Facilitated by Gary Stager & Sylvia Martinez
A Collaboration Between Erie 2-Chautauqua-Cattaraugus BOCES, SUNY Fredonia Science Center and the Chautauqua Region Community Foundation.
This three day event is designed for regional educators to work with Gary Stager and Sylvia Martinez (Consultants, Constructing Modern Knowledge) in district teams or as individuals on project based learning and critical thinking in a makerspace environment (this video link will introduce you to Gary, Sylvia and the workshop).
ALL participants will receive a copy of "Invent to Learn: Making, Tinkering and Engineering in the Classroom" to support their learning and ability to create makerspaces with their schools. District teams will also receive a "maker kit" to help them launch a school or district initiative around maker spaces and PBL.
