Learning. Growing. Collaborating & Achieving @KrumHighSchool
December 11, 2017
Greetings, KHS Family!
Thank you for a great week. Congratulations to our basketball teams on their success this weekend! JV Girls were Tournament Champions, Varsity Girls and Varsity Boys both finished second in their respective tournaments. In addition, congratulations to Jaimie Jones on placing 27th at the San Angelo Wool Judging Contest.
This week we have nine week exams in addition to a choir concert, basketball games, letterjacket fittings, and FCCLA's Gingerbread Camp. On Friday we will have a pep rally for our basketball teams. Although there are only eight days left in the semester, it is important that we finish strong.
As we reflect upon 2017, we are certainly proud of our students and their many accomplishments throughout the year. Regardless of the activity, Krum High School students have excelled on many levels.
Excellence is certainly not happenstance. Excellence is the result of high expectations, hard work, perseverance, and execution without mistakes. Our excellence is the direct orchestration of teachers, staff, parents, and students working together for a common goal. Thank you for sharing a vision of excellence with our faculty and staff for the success of our students.
The start of a new year brings excitement as well as new situations to encounter and new challenges to overcome. Rest assured, the faculty and staff of Krum High School are committed to preparing our students to be competitive in the 21st Century global workforce. The progress of our district will ultimately be measured by the success of our students.
As we prepare for 2018, we realize there will be new situations to encounter and new challenges to overcome. Even so, we embrace these events with the utmost confidence in our teammates. We wish you much happiness during this holiday season. May your memories of the past year be filled with many recollections of joy, victory, and personal growth.
Go Bobcats!
