Offerings are open to all full and part-time faculty, except for our cohort programs OASIS and PECE.

OASIS Leadership & Development Program
Now accepting applications for the spring 2021 cohort on the RU-NB campus!
(will be virtual if Rutgers has not returned to on-campus)
The OASIS Leadership and Professional Development program is a semester-long program designed to support all full-time, female faculty by providing opportunities to:

Program for Early Career Excellence (PECE)
PECE is now accepting applications for the cohort starting spring 2021!
The Program for Early Career Excellence (PECE) supports Rutgers’ mission to recruit, retain, and advance a diverse faculty. The program provides one year of intensive career development support with a focus on scholarly productivity.
PECE helps faculty to:
- Develop their scholarly work and identity
- Build connections in the Rutgers community
- Understand diversity and inclusion in academia

Senior Mentor Office Hours
Receive insight and valuable advice at these one hour sessions from senior faculty members who have experience navigating issues at Rutgers such as: Work/Life Balance, Goal Setting, Preparing for Academic Leadership and more.
Come with your questions, meet other colleagues, and gain new perspectives!
Faculty Women of Color
During this unprecedented time, the Faculty Women of Color - OFD Common Interest Group will host topical and virtual meetings to continue to build our community of support, connection and engagement.
Open to all faculty, staff and post-docs. New members welcome!
WRITING SUPPORT
Do you need support and accountability to achieve your writing goals?
WE'VE GOT YOU COVERED!
WRITING RETREATS: Virtual Faculty Writing Retreats this semester will provide dedicated time and virtual "space" to focus on scholarly writing in the company of colleagues. Retreats are once per month, two consecutive days from 10am -3pm
NEW THIS YEAR!!
For additional insight and inspiration, our retreats will feature special lunchtime discussions with publishing professionals and some of Rutgers' own notable authors.

- October: Khadijah White, author of The Branding of Right-Wing Activism: The News Media and the Tea Party
Keep the momentum going! Join OFD for two hours of writing three times per week throughout the fall semester until 12/17/2020.
