Progress Reports

Progress reports will be available in Parent Portal on Wednesday, May 4th by the end of the school day. Please pay close attention to any missing assignments and any questions you may have.

Mock EOG - Math

Tomorrow, before Enhancements, 4th grade students will be participating in a Mock Math EOG. This will help students understand how to pace themselves during the actual test, use a calculator, and it will also allow them to practice proper testing behaviors for the real test. Please know that this is a mock test, and we will be using the data from it solely for classroom purposes.

Proctors Needed

Rowan-Salisbury Schools is in need of wonderful community members who will volunteer to serve as classroom “Proctors” during our upcoming test administration to students. Your time and willingness to help are invaluable to our district!

Dates: Testing will take place from May 25 – June 8, 2016

Honor Roll Celebration

The 3rd Quarter Honor Roll Celebration will be held in the morning on Tuesday, May 3rd. Invitations will be sent home soon through your child's teacher.

GQES is once again participating in The Give 5 Read 5 Program. It is our hope that all students be able to go home for the summer with 5 books to read. A flyer about this program was sent home in weekly communication folders last Thursday. Please consider participating! We know that many of our fourth graders have made great growth in reading this year, so many of the books they own might be too easy.
