Student Drop Off and Pick Up

Please See the picture below to help get a feel for the traffic flow for student drop off and pick up. Please note that students should never cross the parking lot and should always use the crosswalks on the East and West sides of the lot when making their way North of the school.

It is also important to note that no parents should line up on the West side of the building to pick up students in the afternoon.

The Mustang Police Department will soon help assist in reinforcing safe drop off and exit procedures for students.

What is ICAP?

ICAP is a student-driven, ongoing process that actively engages students, enabling them to:

1. Understand their own interest, strengths, values and learning

styles.

2. Create a vision for their individual future.

3. Develop individual goals.

4. Prepare a personal plan for achieving their vision and their goals.

New Student Meet and Greet will be held on September 28th from 9:15 AM to 9:45 AM in the Teachers Lounge. Donuts and juice will be provided. This is an annual event for all the new students that have joined our family at MMS. Invitations will be sent out to the participating students.

W.I.N. Time

We will begin incorporating W.I.N. Time into our schedule in the coming weeks. W.I.N. stands for "What I Need."

The goal of W.I.N. Time is to give students 30 minutes a day once or twice a week to provide opportunities for intervention or extension in areas of need. Students will either be placed or have the opportunity to choose from classes that have extra help or enrichment activities.

We will be working with students in the coming weeks to help them understand the purpose and the logistics.
