The Rules
In soccer there are a few basic rules that you need to know before you play. The first rule is that you can't use your hands only the goalie can if he/she is inside the big goalie box the goalie can roll it to their teammates, punt the ball, or if they wanted just set it down and kick it. You can use anything else such as your head, feet, and back. The second rule is that you can't check or push, you can lean on someone and try to get the ball. However you can slide tackle but you have to be doing it from the front and you have to be going for the ball. The third rule is that if the ball goes out on the sidelines it is a throw in and whatever team kicked it out it is the opposite team's throw in and when you throw it in you have to keep both feet on the ground and you have to throw it over your head with two hands and you throw it in wherever the ball went out. If the ball goes out on the line that the goal is on by the other team on your side then you place the ball on the corner of the small box and kick it to one of your teammates . If the ball is kicked out on the goal line by your team on your side of the field then it is a corner kick for the other team and they place the ball on the corner the field on your side of the field and whatever side it went out on. That is the same for both teams.
Indoor soccer has a lot of the same rules as outdoor but there are a few changes. If the ball goes out on the sidelines then instead of a throw in they set it down and kick it to a teammate. When the goalie gets the ball they have 3 seconds to roll the ball to your teammates. When your are getting a substitute they have to wait for you to cross the sideline until they can go in. So those are the rules of indoor and outdoor soccer. Have Fun!
