The Lowell PTA welcomes you!!
We are so glad you are here! We hope that your transition to Lowell has been a smooth one and you will soon feel right at home. We hope you will find Lowell to be the wonderfully nurturing school that we do, where the roots for lifelong learning truly are planted.
As PTA Co-Presidents, we wanted to officially welcome you and invite you to learn more about the PTA and all of the opportunities the PTA provides. The Lowell PTA provides valuable programming and funding to Lowell School, which enables us to enrich the education of all Lowell students. In addition, the Lowell PTA supports community and family, by providing opportunities to socialize and spend time together!
Members of the Lowell PTA are already hard at work planning programs and activities that benefit the students and families of our school. It is their time and dedication that help provide successful programs such as the Back to School Social, Battle of the Books, Chess Club, Reflections, Assemblies, Field Trips, and many others.
Through the efforts of parents, teachers, and community members working together, PTA is making a difference in all of our children’s education, health, welfare, and safety. It is a far larger job than any one of us could do alone and the reason why we need your support.
Please feel free to contact either of us if you have any questions. Our meetings are open to everyone, so please join us in September and learn more. We encourage all Lowell parents to join the PTA!
Your membership alone is a great support! If you are interested in becoming more involved, we would love to have you! There are lots of opportunities for all parents to become involved at a level that fits their personal schedules, availability, strengths and interests. Together we can do great things for Lowell! We are very proud to be a part of the special Lowell community and look forward to a great school year.
Sincerely,
Andrea Koziarz and Charity Makela
