Framing your time on the Digital Playground...
- Design a lesson from beginning to end using the Planning Menu
- Revise a lesson of your choice to include technology as a tool or conduit for student performance
- Prepare to implement communication and collaboration tools for your students
At the end of the day we will present our products to the group. Feel free to work as individuals or in partnerships. If there is something missing from this list that you would like to create or develop- go for it!
Getting on the Digital Playground Stations...
While it impossible and counter intuitive to try to strictly categorize the following tools at these stations, they have been generally grouped to highlight which tools lend themselves to 21st Century Skills for the sake of exploration and assignment to tasks. You will certainly see multiple uses/ways to creatively maximize their potential.
Here's how the stations will work...
There are three documents in the Edmodo Folder titled Stations (Getting on the Playground). The stations include:
~Communication / Collaboration
~Critical Thinking
~Creativity
Now let's go to the document in the same folder titled Teacher Station Document.
Within each of these 30 minute stations, if you discover a new resource or are reminded of something else you use, please share via Edmodo.
Before we break for lunch, share your top three new tools along with their possible applications in Edmodo.
