The RISE Report
March 2022 Newsletter
The 2022 Women’s History Month theme is "Women Providing Healing, Promoting Hope." Rise’s vision is built on hope, the hope to be a collaborative school community, one where scholars sharpen their skills and talents to lead, change and revolutionize the STEM industry.
Currently we serve 186 brilliant young scholars and every single one of them has the power to use hope as an instrument for change - always remember their individual and collective strength to RISE UP!
MakerSpace
The three Rise artists along with Josie Yeast and Bushra Bekkousche were invited to Keenland for an event, Play Date, to kick start the painting of the horses!
Congratulations! We can't wait to see it!

We will let you know if we need anything specific in the future!
REAL Men Read We are looking for some REAL Men to volunteer to read to our scholars. If interested please contact our librarian, Ms. Dottie, on how to get started. (Click on the logo to learn more) | It's A Page Turner! Claire's Magical Tooth Fairy Journey is a beautiful picture book created by our very own Clark Turner and her mom! It's a fun story about a curious little girl who ends up going on a magical journey with the tooth fairy. This mother/daughter duo read to us on Family Night. If you missed it, stop by the library to check out their donated copy. Their book inspires us to "Always Dream in Color". | Book Fair Success! A big thank you to ALL the parents, students, and staff who supported the Scholastic Book Fair! Our goal was met and exceeded because of you. A very special thanks to all of the volunteers who offered their time to help out! We couldn’t have done it without you! Just a reminder that the Book Fair will be open until 10 o'clock Monday, March 7th. RISE Readers Rock! |
