What is a Thesis?
A thesis is a beginning assertion about a topic telling the reader your position on the topic being discussed. A thesis illustrates the purpose of your paper and what specifics you will go into.
When do you use a Thesis?
A thesis statement is used typically at the end of your introduction to assert what will be discussed in the rest of the paper and the position that the paper takes on this subject.
How do you use a Thesis?
It is a sentence that typically starts by addressing a pointed topic then stating a argumentative stance on the topic and then examples THAT CAN BE PROVEN of why you have taken this stance.
Why do we write Thesis statements?
We use it so that our reader can know what will be discussed through the paper and the stance of that paper on that topic.
