What: The aquarium contains over 25,000 fish and holds 5,000,000 gallons of water. It is also home to marine mammals, birds, snakes, amphibians, and insects.

When: Open throughout the entirety of the World Fair
Why: The aquarium was built to add to the other two museums already in Grant Park. Also, every truly cosmopolitan city throughout the country had a magnificent aquarium.
