Holiday Food Baskets
Thank you for your generosity as we collect food for families in our area during this holiday season. Last year, thanks to your kindness we were able to assemble over 70 baskets that were delivered to Mill Creek families and families from neighboring schools. This year, our goal is to provide a basket for 86 families - over 100 children - in our area. This week, you will receive a request for a specific food item. Please return all donations to your child's teacher by Friday, December 12th.
In addition, Kathy Budniewski, our school nurse, will be collecting frozen turkeys. If you have earned a free turkey through a supermarket, please consider bringing in the turkey, and we will store it in our cafeteria freezers. If you have any other questions, please contact Ms. Budniewski at email@example.com.
Thank you for your generosity!
A Kindergarten Thanksgiving Celebration!
Thank you Mrs. Michener and Welcome Mrs. Ordile!
After many years of service to Mill Creek Elementary School and the students of Central Bucks School District, Mrs. Michener, our PEN Teacher, announced her retirement this winter. She has been instrumental in providing and extending student learning. While we are saddened to see Mrs. Michener leave, we are delighted that she will begin this new chapter in her life. On behalf of the staff, students and parents, Mrs. Michener - we wish you well!!
In mid-December we will be welcoming, Mrs. Ordile. Over the last few years, Mrs. Ordile taught 6th grade in Virginia. While there, she was the Grade Team Leader, Science Lead Teacher and a member of the STEM Committee. Mrs. Ordile also led several teacher workshops on topics that targeted critical thinking skills and rigor in the classroom. We are looking forward to welcoming her to Mill Creek Elementary School!
