What I believe about coaching teachers
My greatest wish is help you unleash your power to affect the lives of your students. Finding that powerful place can be a frustrating and uncomfortable journey sometimes. If you already know your power, to thrive in it and continue to grow it can be equally as uncomfortable. Job #1 for me is to support, nudge, and offer direction as you continue to find what makes and keeps you passionate about this important work of educating children.
My roles can be:
Thought partner when you need one.
Consultant when you ask for one.
Resource gatherer when time requires one.
Mirror for when you are having difficulty recognizing your own greatness.
Model when you need to see something done first before you try it.
Co-teacher when students and teacher need an extra set of hands/eyes/ears.
Cheerleader/advocate for the times you need to take a risk.
Ultimately, I believe the coach/teacher partnership can be the very best personalized professional development because the agenda is yours. Choose how you want to grow and let's collaborate to make it happen!

How might having a coach in your corner make sense?
Any content and any topic of instruction is game. I'll never claim to be expert on all subjects - what I offer is feedback and data around instructional moves.
