The Mindful Minute: Fill up your Cup

Be your own best friend! How do you feel your cup?

At the end of each day, at the end of each week, give yourself a gift. Find something to look forward to at the end of each day,

  • a cup of tea
  • positive affirmations, reflecting on our blessings,
  • a favorite meal
  • a favorite show... ie : The Mandalorian
  • watching the sun set

Whatever is your treat to fill your cup, remember to take time to give back to yourself.

There is a lot happen that is taken out of our cup, make sure to give back.

Science fact: for every negative we hear, we need FIVE positives to refill 🙂 remember this when speaking to our students, children, spouses, and EVEN OURSELVES!!

These classes are through North County Lifeline for FREE Parent Education workshops offered in English and Spanish. The parenting classes are an 8 week course via virtual setting at this time. Parents that are interested need to call them directly for more specific information and the start dates for the new series. The representative informed me that the parent would need to participate since the beginning/first session as they cannot come in when the classes have already started. The next series is expected to start in January 2021.Please see the flyers attached below
