We would like to invite JCES students to join the Weiss Football Family Thursday, Sep. 30th for Homecoming. The students will have free entry but the parents will have to purchase a ticket (link provided this week). WHS will bring T-shirts for the kids to purchase if interested Thursday morning for $10. The students will be allowed to go in the locker room during pre-game and also run through the tunnel with the team.

Date: Thursday, September 30th

Time: 6pm

Location: The PField. Students will meet in front of the concession stand closest to the locker room.

Uniform: Weiss shirt, Carpenter Shirt or black shirt

This event is hosted by the WHS coaching staff, not JCES.

This year ALL students will have access to free breakfast and lunch, regardless of economic need. The free breakfast and lunch opportunity will expire for the 2022-23 year; families that may qualify for free/reduced lunch should still complete the application this year so that services are not disrupted when this program ends. Speaking of breakfast...for students to have the chance to eat breakfast and not be rushed, it is best that they are here by 7:25 am. Students begin to clean up around 7:30 so they are not tardy at 7:35. The breakfast serving line opens at 7:05.

This Friday we will begin having Enrichment Clubs from 7:50 - 8:20. All students will be able to participate in a club of their choice that will take place every other Friday. Students will attend the same enrichment club throughout the fall semester and will be allowed to try a new club in the spring. This allows students to form relationships with other staff members and allows them to participate in fun and engaging activities while at school. The joy and laughter during this time are infectious!

Carpenter Parents. If your child is out for any reason, please send a note back with your student the day they return. Our registrar asks that you include the following information: name, student ID, date of absence(s), the reason for the absence, then sign and date it. If your child had a medical appointment you may submit that note from them to her (Ms. Vallejo). Thank you for your assistance.
