The origin of the Reuben originates from two different places in america. there Omaha, Nebraska, and new York city. The sandwich consists of corned beef, sauerkraut, Swiss cheese, rye bread, and thousand island ranch. There are seven different variations of the Reuben. how the sandwich got its name is somewhat unknown since there are more than one account of the "naming". in Omaha, Nebraska, there was a man by the name of Reuben kulakofsky, and in New York city there was a man by the name of Arnold Reuben. but regardless of who named it, you should still try this sandwich because its amazing and if you can't taste the cholesterol then it isn't a real sandwich.
