Piedmont College Career Services
March Newsletter
March Review
March has been a very busy month for Career Services. We hosted over 10 presentations including 5 alumni/employer panels as well as three classroom presentations. I also met with over 27 students individually.
However, there is still room to grow! Please encourage your students to meet with me to discuss major and career exploration, finding a job or internship, or going to graduate school. I can help with ANY of their career related needs.
Georgia Association of Colleges & Employers Statewide Career Fair
Encourage your students to attend the upcoming Statewide Career Fair on April 13th. This collaborative event between Georgia colleges and universities, as well as big name employers, is a great way to give our students access to jobs. More information can be found here: http://www.gace.org/C2C.Students.Alumni .
Transportation and lunch will be provided to participating students on Athens and Demorest Campuses. To attend students must meet with Dean Pettit or myself and have their resume reviewed.
Demorest students should email me at bkinard@piedmont.edu to schedule an appointment.
Athens students should email Zach Churchill at zchurchill@piedmont.edu to sign-up. Appointments will be made according to the student's schedule.
