To Kill a Mockingbird
Author: Harper Lee
To Kill a Mockingbird is one of my personal favorites. It has a perfect balance of good vs. evil, coming of age, and mystery. Atticus's heroism and the kids curiosity always left me wanting more. this book some how manages to make you laugh, cry, curios all while sending a chill down your spine. While reading it I felt as if I got to know the characters and them I. To Kill a Mockingbird, along with the characters in it will always have a special place in my heart.
"You never really understand a person until you consider things from his point of view(...) until you climb into his skin and walk around in it."
" (...) we're fighting our friends. But remember this, no matter how bitter things get, they're still our friends and this is still our home."
"There's one thing I truly believe, Gertrude," she continued, "but some people just don't see it my way. If we just let them know we forgive 'em, that we've forgotten it, then this whole thing'll blow over."
