Central Update Bulletin - Issue 19

Staff Development...Tuesday, January 19th.

We are excited to have a day together to continue our learning journey. Our agenda for the day can be found here. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Staffing

I know it is hard to believe, but we are already looking at staffing for next year. Attached is a form that will help us to make any necessary changes. We know that everyone is committed to the students Central, but we also understand that sometimes you need to make a change for personal or family reasons. If you are looking for work elsewhere please let us know so that we may help you in your journey. Thank you in advance for completing this form by the end of the day on Monday, January 25th.

SNAP Meetings

SNAP Meetings were originally scheduled for this week, but due to wanting updated MAP scores we have postponed them until the week of February 8th. We hope this extra time will allow for us to have the most updated information and be able to make the best choices for our students. If you feel you have concerns which cannot wait until then please let us know.

AMP Time

Thank you for your thoughtful plans during AMP over the last two weeks. The AMP sessions for the next two weeks will be for your team to meet and revise/edit plans if necessary and/or meet to discuss how things are going.

Please let us know if you would like someone from the Instructional Leadership Team to attend.

Focus Point: Why Should Inspire our students to Create

Loved this infographic. Why do we do what we do? It's not enough to just teach our students the facts. In fact if all the know is facts, do they really know anything useful at all? With the rise of technology we have all the facts of the world at our finger tips or with Echo and Siri by just simply asking out loud.
