Newsletter Term 4 Week 8
Patumahoe School 7th December 2022
FROM THE PRINCIPALS DESK
The end of the year is just around the corner, however life at Patumahoe School is as busy as ever.
Last Friday our Junior students had their athletics day. It was lovely to see so many parents and grandparents here to cheer on their students. Our athletes showed the Patumahoe school values of Kaitiakitanga (responsibility and courage) and Manaakitanga (respect ) throughout the day.
Our Year 6 students had an absolutely amazing 2 days at City Camp. Again this group of students lived up to all of our school values, and showed courage as they challenged themselves in a range of tasks and activities. Thanks to the Year 6 teachers and the parents who accompanied the Year 6 students over the 2 days.
There was great excitement last week as the Senior playground was opened for the first play! It has been a hive of activity ever since. Again a huge thanks to the PTA, Pelorus Trust and the Patumahoe School Board for making this incredible playground a reality.
FInally, tomorrow your child will come home with a letter detailing their class for 2023. Please ensure that you check their school bag for this. On Tuesday 13th of December at 1:00pm the children will visit their new classroom with their 2023 teacher and classmates.

PRODUCTION USB
Just a reminder that if you want a copy of the blockbuster 'A teary tale of fairy fails' then it's not too late to order! You'll receive the movie (that's come out really well I have to say) and a whole bunch of photos, some shot by pro Jeremy Wells. They are excellent! All you need to do is send in $10.00 and a 32gb usb stick and I'll copy the whole lot onto it. Please send in a named bag (even name the usb stick if you can!) to the office.
Good one,
Todd
