Elma Middle School

First Week of School

Hello Eagles!

It is hard to believe that school starts this week, but it is time. It is a busy week and we want to make sure that you've got the information that you need to get through the next few days. If you need more information, or something specific to your child, please contact us. We look forward to seeing our students on Thursday!

~ Don't Forget to Register! ~

Register your student for school with Skyward

If you have not done so already, please go to your Skyward account and register your student for school. They can not pick up their supplies on Thursday without registration being complete, because they aren't enrolled in school, yet. If you need help with this process, call us and we'll be happy to walk through it with you.

Phone calls with Homeroom Teachers

On Wednesday, your student's Homeroom teacher will be calling to make sure you have the information that you need. If you have not registered, they will put you in touch with someone that can help with that. It is one last effort to make sure we're all ready for Thursday.

  • Pick up a Chromebook,
  • Pick up materials for distance learning, like textbooks.

*We also have a special gift pack for each student, provided with support from the Flight Foundation.

Google Classroom Check-Ins

Now that students have their Chromebooks, they can log into their school email and accept the invitations to join their teachers' Google Classrooms. They should have seven, total. One for each class and one for the counselor.

Once your student has accepted the invitation to all of their classrooms, they are ready for next week. Please make sure that they have done this by 8 am on Tuesday morning, when the first classroom assignments will be posted.

If your student needs help logging into their school email, please contact the school.
