Partee General News
Partee Elementary Parent Newsletter - January 2022
Happy New Year! I hope your break included lots of rest and fun with your family. Most importantly, I hope that your family was able to stay healthy and safe. We were happy to welcome our students back to school last week. Many of them were having to adjust to being back on their normal routine. I'm sure our students were used to staying up late and sleeping in because that's exactly what I did on my break. It's good to get back on a schedule. 😉
At Partee we are looking forward to the second semester. We experienced great success the first half of the year and we are ready to finish the year strong. Please make sure to mark your calendars for the events we have each month. You can find this information in the newsletter and on the calendar that's on the Partee ES website.
A Chromebook and charger have been checked out to every student for both in school and at-home use. Students will begin to bring their device home and back to school each day. This daily practice of transporting their device will assist students with becoming accustomed to bringing their device home for scheduled digital learning days as well as any unplanned moves to digital learning due to COVID protocols or inclement weather.
At home students can....
- Access their teacher's eCLASS course page
- Access programs such as Classworks, iReady, and Amplify to practice grade level concepts and skills.
If your child has access to a device at home and would not need to bring the school device home, please inform your classroom teacher so the device is not sent home. Your child will still use the school device that’s checked out to them in class.
All Partee parents will need to complete and return the Chromebook Acceptance document on Monday, January 10th. Students will return this form to their teacher.
