Oregon State University

Oregon State University is located south of Portland in the small, green city of Corvallis. It has a population of 54,000. The college first opened in 1868, and 27,925 students currently populate it.

Some famous alumni include Timothy S. Leatherman, the creator of the Leatherman tool; Jen-Hsun Huang, the CEO of NVIDIA; and Bobby Henderson, the creator of Flying Spaghetti Monsterism. Being the home of the beavers, OSU also boasts a large list of famous athletic alumni, such as Olympic gold medalist Mel Counts, NCAA record holder in career and season field goal percentage for basketball Steve Johnson, and many more.

OSU's Pharmacy College is one of the two Pharmacy Colleges in Oregon. It has been a part of OSU for 100 years. Its faculty is world-renowned and the College is considered accredited in relevance to earning a state-granted license. One credit hour as a resident costs about $560, while 18 credit hours cost about $6,720.

The University of California

The University of California, located in San Francisco, is one of the leading health-oriented colleges in the nation. It focuses on collaborative research to make healthcare breakthroughs often. It has 22,800 faculty employed throughout all 10 campuses and generates about 20,000 jobs for the community. UCSF is also the only UC college dedicated to healthcare.

University of Florida

The University of Florida is ranked at #14 on US News and World Report's Top Pharmacy Programs list. It is also one of the few to offer online Pharmacy courses. UF is Florida's "oldest and most comprehensive" college and extremely diverse. It officially opened to males in 1905 and began admitting females in 1947. It has over 50,000 students each year on a 900 building, 2,000 acre campus. One term at UF's Pharmacy college, all residential and related fees included, costs about $12,000.
