Are you ready for some R&R?!?

I know I am ready for some R&R- Some Red Ribbon Week. Home and School has been planning some fun ways to acknowledge that we don't want anything to do with drugs. Check out the schedule below and start planning how you can join in this special week.

KAES students make the most important decision

Congratulations to Cason Bowyer and Nathanial Wilson. They made the decision to follow Jesus and be baptized. Last Saturday afternoon, among many family and friends, both students were baptized by Pastor Travis. We are so proud of you both. Continue to rely on Jesus!

Congratulations to our Lady Eagles for playing in the JH Championship.

1st Quarter Awards

Congratulations students! Eighty percent of our KAES student body received attendance and academic awards today. Remember we are already in the 2nd quarter so what we do now will determine our achievement in January. Keep up the great work KAES students.

KAES Lois Mikesell Family Crisis Fund

A crisis fund is now available to receive donations in memory of Lois Mikesell. Lois did so much to help people in need. It is believed this fund will continue to do what she did so much of. This fund has been set up in partnership with the Keene Church so funds can be given to the Keene Church or KAES.

Sixth Grade Parties at the Pool

Congratulations to our 6th grade who celebrated their achievement in our most recent fundraiser. It was a bit chilly but that did not seem to faze the students much. Great job 6th grade! I hope you enjoyed your day.

Gymnasium moves forward

I am sure you are watching the changes happening at our new gym, but what you may not have known is that changes are happening inside as well. The drywall has begun to be installed.

Middle School Community Service

It took a lot of prayers and trust that God would work things out and He did. Today our Middle School was able to go out to serve others. Some picked up sticks and trimmed overgrown flower beds and other picked up trash, shoveled stalls and walked animals. Some groups interacted with elderly and others with children. We gave it our all and hopefully represented Jesus well. It was hard work but it was also fun.
