Navigating the School System taught by Selene Garza

Life happens and sometimes we need a reminder on how to keep things balanced and on track. This course will provide participants with resources and strategies to support the strengthening of student academic skills outside of the classroom setting and help parents reinforce these strategies as well as apply them in their own lives.

Time: 6-8 p.m.

Location SAISD Pickett Academy Cafeteria (1931 E. Houston St.)

Orientation Make Up Session

There will be a make-up orientation session tomorrow (Thursday) at 5:30 p.m. prior to our regular scheduled PLA course for participants who missed Saturday.

If you know of anyone who would like to participate in the Parent Leadership Academy, please invite them to this make-up session and to stay for the first course. The make up orientation will fill them in on all the details.
