Hero Headlines HMS Staff News
February 17, 2020
General Announcements.....
1. Yay to the ESL Celebration committee!!!! They provided our students with a WONDERFUL celebration. The kids were beaming with pride. Thank you all so much!!!!
2. Gabriela Stewart, our SpEd clerk, can not be used to make phone calls outside of SpEd issues. We (Misty, Ben, and myself) often use the ESL office to place a phone call. It is so easy and quick. Please use this ofice (750-8706) to place phone calls to either Marshallese or Spanish-speaking families. Valeria would be happy to help too when she is not in class serving kids.
3. Mr. Barrett shared new info regarding work orders. Staff members are now responsible for initiating your requests. Here is the slide show that will get you started.
4. Are you looking for something different and fun to liven up these LONG winter months? Don't forget we paid for access to Breakoutedu.com - which will give you access to escape rooms for just about all content areas. Go into this spreadsheet and claim your code - have fun!
5. If your program has tryouts or an application, please give me your dates ASAP. I am publishing this info in the parent newsletter starting this week.
