Summary

This book is about a teenage boy named Alex Rider, who was recruited into a secret agency shortly after his uncle died in what was thought to be a car crash. This all will take place in Europe where a man was planning to kill thousands with biological weapon infused computers. Before Alex can stop him, he must be trained to prepare for future obstacles. many dangers lie ahead from a small army to a large jelly fish. He must do everything to stop the mass murder. A quote from the book: "The plane was in the air, the back wheels lifting off. The guards taking aim." That shows what trouble that Alex Rider is going to be in soon enough.

Assessment

I chose this book because I enjoy things that has a lot of action involved. My favorite part of the book occurred when Alex was forced to escape the large jelly fish. In my opinion, the book is really good since I do very much enjoy action. Some reasons why I disliked the book is that most of the time it was like watching paint dry, nothing really important was going on. It was just stale. Overall, I would rate the book 4.5 stars because, like I said, it was like watching paint dry. Barely anything was going on that was important, just basic batter being put in to fill up the holes in the story. It would be recommended for people who enjoy action.
