Our Vision
Our Lady of Fatima Palmyra is a Catholic School that aspires to
provide a respectful, secure and caring learning environment
where our community is committed to following
the teachings of Jesus.
From the Principal
Dear Parents,
As you receive this edition of the newsletter I will be heading off on Long Service Leave for the remainder of 2019. I would like to wish everyone well for the remainder of the year and look forward to reconnecting with the community in January.
We have a number of things planned in January to ensure that the build is completed and we transition into the new buildings smoothly as the children return to school in 2020 on Monday 3rd February.
New Leadership Structure
While I am on Long Service Leave for the last 6 weeks of the school year for the students, Rob La Roche will step up into the role of Principal and will be assisted in the office by Brooke Fraser-Dewar and Sabrina Reardon. Brooke will continue to work in the office every Wednesday but will also be in the office every Friday, with Lara Gleeson teaching in Pre-Primary on those 2 days. Sabrina will be in the office assisting Rob every Monday for the last 6 weeks and Amanda Bennett (our Music teacher) will be teaching the Year 1 class each Monday. Rob will also be in the office fulltime, with Nicole Wright assuming the fulltime role as our Year 5 classroom teacher again for the last 6 weeks of the school year. Our goal is to keep the structures as normal as possible for the children during this time.

Best wishes for the coming fortnight.
