It takes the collective effort of all of us to ensure that we all remain safe. One of the most effective ways to do that is to report anything that could affect the safety of our students and staff. Many threats are dealt with before they can come to fruition because of individuals willing to report directly to a trusted adult. That is strongly encouraged. We also encourage families to have discussions with their children about the seriousness of and consequences for these actions.

There are other ways that these safety concerns can be reported. CPS offers QuickTip, a way to anonymously report any safety concerns. The icon can be found on our webpages. The CrimeLine icon is also available on our webpages and that platform can be used to report concerns directly to the police department. You will also see the K-12 “Let’s Talk” icon on the CPS homepage and on many other CPS webpages. Clicking that will take you to another platform for registering concerns and asking questions. Non-pressing messages can be left here and they will be addressed by appropriate administrators. More information can be found on the CPS website.
