Bear Tracks

A Note From the Principal:
Dear Bear Tavern Staff,
We are coming up on February and moving at full steam! We have so many amazing things going on and while that is a great thing, it can sometimes feel like everything around us is moving in hyper-speed. Remember to work hard to laugh every day and to be sure that you are taking care of yourself, drinking plenty of water, getting some sleep and staying active when you can.
Monday's meeting is going to be the perfect opportunity for a mid-year check in. We will be able to collaborate and to think about our culture: in our classrooms/work spaces and across the entire school.
Remember to work as hard as you can, but at the same time to give yourselves some opportunities to smile and have some fun. Even when things get tough, there is way, way more good than bad in our school and our community. We are very lucky...
HAPPY FRIDAY!
Sincerely,
Chris

- TCNJ Math/Science Students on Tuesday - PLEASE see me ASAP if you'd be open to hosting students for eight weeks on Tuesdays to observe Math/Science and teach one lesson. I am still in need of some volunteers.

Message from Tony Suozzo
Dear K-5:
In the spring of 2015 we announced that your Google Drive would be the primary storage location for documents as of July 1, 2017. This message was reiterated in the May 2016 and September 2016 Technology Newsletters that were sent to all staff. Long ago your files used to sync from your Mac to the network. At some point syncing was turned off so you were just saving to your Mac. Those old files that synced are still saved on the network. However, they will expire as of June 30, 2017. Most of these are old files and you may already have them. If you want a chance to go through these files click the appropriate link below for a video that will show you how to see them as well as how to save them to your Google Drive since this will now be the primary place for storing documents. Please be aware that to take a look at your files on the network, (as the video below will show), you would need to be in district. As always, if you need any help transferring your files please send an email to the help desk.

Click here if you are now using a Windows (dell) laptop
The four elementary principals have agreed to provide some upcoming faculty meeting time to support staff in this transition. This would include tech support for those who might need it. They will communicate details.
Thanks
Tony
