Band District Solo & Ensemble results: 23 One/Superior Ratings from Solos or Ensembles, 49 Total One Ratings for our students (Medals Earned), 28 Students total are going to State!

- Ten DECA students qualify to compete at Internationals in Orlando, FL. Ms. Trochim receives the District 6 DECA Diamond Award for Outstanding Advisor
16 Choir members qualify for State. Concert Choir and Treble Choir received overall ratings of Superior (I), and Chamber Choir not only received an overall Superior (I) rating, but also received a Superior rating from every judge on the panel. Our Men's Choir received an overall rating of Excellent (II)
19 Varsity Basketball players receive Academic All-Conference Honors (9 boys & 10 Girls)
Speech & Debate-Competing as one of the top 12 schools in the St. Louis region on March 10th and 12th, the Francis Howell North mock trial team produced a strong showing, finishing in third place and thus qualifying for the Missouri State Mock Trial Tournament to be held March 27th-29th. The Knights will uphold the prosecution when they face Rockhurst High School on Friday evening, and will present the defense against Liberty High School Saturday morning. Elimination rounds will follow Saturday afternoon and Sunday. Team members are (witnesses) Dillon Beelek, Caleb Black, Elise Gertsch, Nicole Morse, Miles Thies, and Emily Wilson, and (attorneys) Marygrace Cole, Luke Guerdan, Lauren Hogan, Zoe Lawson, Tessa Smith, and Caitlind Walker. The team's attorney-coach is St. Charles prosecutor, and father of two FHN alums, Phil Groenweghe.
On March 7th, the FHN Guard captured the WGI St. Louis Regional Scholastic Open Championships title for the third year in a row. On March 14th and 15th, the guard traveled to Cincinnati for the WGI Mid-East Regional, capturing 2nd place in the Scholastic Open Division. This past weekend, the guard placed 1st at the MCCGA competition held at O'Fallon Township High School. This weekend the guard will travel to Willard High School for the 2015 MCCGA Circuit Championships hoping to bring home their 7th consecutive MCCGA Gold Medal.
