Media?? What is media to you? Media to me is a dog? A dog that travels around interrupting peoples life every day. Throwing a dog a bone is like throwing media Justin Bieber and all the dumb things he does in his everyday life. Media can be bad and good, like it can spread rumors and hurt people or it can tell you everyday things that happen in life. Media can be traveled through internet, or newspaper, or magazine, or through a person’s mouth. There is so many ways that media can be traveled through like the radio, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Three top social media websites. For me when I want to find something out I would just go on Facebook or Instagram because I don’t have a Twitter and find out about the latest news like about Paul Walker and when he died. When he died the whole social media blow up, with people saying R.I.P Paul Walker you will be missed and other things like that. Or what everyone thought would happen to the movie Fast 7, because I know I did. Was the movie done before he died, are they going to replace Paul with someone else because I don’t think anyone would appreciate it if they did. So throw media a bone so more stories may come out or in other words more gossip. I mean most celebrities do it every day thinking it’s okay just because there famous. Why should we be like them, let’s just be our self’s.

Budweiser Super Bowl XLVIII Commercial -- "Puppy Love"

Budweiser Puppy Love

Budweiser in the commercial “Budweiser releases adorable ‘Puppy Love’ Super Bowl ad” suggests that that love between a puppy and a horse is like love between a man and women and that Budweiser would bring you closer together. Budweiser supports there loveliness by explaining there is more love other than just humans. Like when the dog was given away and the horse ran after the car to get the dog was true love and that horse was running after the things he wants, so Budweiser is saying that you got to run after the drinks you love. The purpose is to show how Budweiser influents love in order for you to buy the drink. Budweiser writes in a loving tone for beer lover.

High School Edition: Zoolandering

Kareim Alasady, Urgent News Reporter

Suwanee, Georgia - One of the most important things to teenagers, especially in this generation, is appearence. If you walk out of the house half- undressed and unready for school, it's almost a crime. Leading to one of the most common reasons to why students are late to class: zoolandering. According to the prestigious and well known Urban Dictionary, zoolandering is the act of repeatedly checking yourself out in the mirror and making sure you look hot at every possible angle.

Really?!? Could this be the reason to why students are late to class? Yes. Yes it is. Enthusiast Youtuber Timothy DeLaGhetto, created a video solely on the topic of "High School Bathrooms, why students are late to class!!". According to the Survey People, 3/4 students spend 3 out of the 8 hours at school in the bathroom. Most people would think only girls take part in zoolandering; unfortunately this is not the case. "Males commit zoolandering more than girls do, it takes me about 10 minutes to make sure my pants are below my waist, but not too far down the gluteus maximus", said senior Fartrell Cluggins. But others such as valedictorian Chao Huan take about 2 minutes.

The epidemic of zoolandering has spread across the country throughout public schools and all major private schools. " We need to get these students to class, on time, everyday so we can project the standard of excellence in our school system", retired principal Kevin Tashlein stated to GCPS officials. Until a remedy can be found students will continue to be late to class because of the zoolandering pandemic.

Stono's "Succession"

In Reality: The Stono Rebellion in South Carolina was the largest rebellion mounted by slaves against slave owners in colonial America.

Ministry of Truth version: South Carolina, September 9, 1739: A band of advocates began a parade march down the road, carrying banners that proclaim "Liberty!” as they shout out the same word. Led by the fierce spirit of Big Brother, the men and women continue to walk south, recruiting more advocates along the way. By the time they stop to rest for the night, their numbers will have approached one hundred.

What exactly triggered the Stono Succession was the ever longing appreciation of Big Brother and how much he has done for the people. Certainly this influenced the potential supporters and made them willing to participate. A fall epidemic had disrupted the colonial government in nearby Charlestown , and word had just arrived that England and Spain were at war, raising hopes that the Spanish in St. Augustine would give a positive reception to slaves escaping from Carolina plantations.

Whatever triggered the Rebellion, early on the morning of the 9th, a Sunday, about twenty proponents gathered near the Stono River in St. Paul's Parish, less than twenty miles from downtown Oceania. The slaves went to a shop that sold fireworks and banners, prepared themselves, then offered the two shopkeepers who were manning the shop to join them. Because the innkeeper at the tavern was kind to the rebels, he was turned in to the authorities. By eleven in the morning, the group was about 50 strong.

The marchers stopped in a large field late that afternoon, just before reaching the Edisto River. Thankful for the service and protection provided by Big Brother, advocates cried out praising Big Brother.

Commentary: I wrote this because without the revolt, America would have not had a perspective of slavery relating to the humanity side and how the slaves actually thought.

Eminem - Not Afraid

Not Afraid

The song “Not Afraid” by Eminem should be the theme song for the movie 1984. I think that this is a good song for the movie because Winston is not afraid to take a step and make a difference in his life. What makes Winston not afraid is that he writes his dairy knowing that there are people always watching him and what he think about all the time. He hates big brother and the party and for this society it is called thought crime witch they will kill you for thinking the wrong way, but Winston does it anyone because he is not afraid he wants to say what is in his mind and stand of for this nasty society and try to make a difference. Winston joins the brotherhood to can the fact that he doesn't like the party, so he is willing to sacrifices his life for to help his future generation. In the song it says “Just letting you know that you're not alone” (Eminem) well in the book there are more people out there that are with them and will do something to make a difference. For the people in the movie they should just “Holler if you feel like you've been down the same road” (Eminem) say that the people in the movie are going through the same disgusting path everyone else is going through. I think this is the perfect song for the upcoming movie.

"Not Afraid"

I'm not afraid (I'm not afraid)
To take a stand (to take a stand)
Everybody (everybody)
Come take my hand (come take my hand)
We'll walk this road together, through the storm
Whatever weather, cold or warm
Just letting you know that you're not alone
Holler if you feel like you've been down the same road (same road)

[Intro (during Chorus):]
Yeah, it's been a ride
I guess I had to, go to that place, to get to this one
Now some of you, might still be in that place
If you're trying to get out, just follow me
I'll get you there

You can try and read my lyrics off of this paper before I lay 'em
But you won't take the sting out these words before I say 'em
Cause ain't no way I'ma let you stop me from causing mayhem
When I say I'ma do something I do it,
I don't give a damn what you think,
I'm doing this for me, so fuck the world
Feed it beans, it's gassed up, if it thinks it's stopping me
I'ma be what I set out to be, without a doubt undoubtedly
And all those who look down on me I'm tearing down your balcony
No ifs, ands or buts, don't try to ask him why or how can he
From "Infinite" down to the last "Relapse" album
He's still shitting, whether he's on salary paid hourly
Until he bows out or he shits his bowels out of him
Whichever comes first, for better or worse
He's married to the game, like a fuck you for Christmas
His gift is a curse, forget the Earth, he's got the urge
To pull his dick from the dirt, and fuck the whole universe

Okay quit playing with the scissors and shit, and cut the crap
I shouldn't have to rhyme these words in the rhythm for you to know it's a rap
You said you was king, you lied through your teeth, for that
Fuck your fillings, instead of getting crowned you're getting capped
And to the fans, I'll never let you down again, I'm back
I promise to never go back on that promise, in fact
Let's be honest, that last "Relapse" CD was ehhh
Perhaps I ran them accents into the ground
Relax, I ain't going back to that now
All I'm trying to say is get back, click-clack, blow
Cause I ain't playing around
It's a game called circle and I don't know how, I'm way too up to back down
But I think I'm still trying to figure this crap out
Thought I had it mapped out but I guess I didn't, this fucking black cloud
Still follows me around but it's time to exorcise these demons
These motherfuckers are doing jumping jacks now!

And I just can't keep living this way
So starting today, I'm breaking out of this cage
I'm standing up, I'ma face my demons
I'm manning up, I'ma hold my ground
I've had enough, now I'm so fed up
Time to put my life back together right now! (now)

It was my decision to get clean, I did it for me
Admittedly, I probably did it subliminally
For you, so I could come back a brand new me you helped see me through
And don't even realize what you did, 'cause believe me you
I been through the ringer, but they could do little to the middle finger
I think I got a tear in my eye, I feel like the king of
My world, haters can make like bees with no stingers
And drop dead, no more beef lingers
No more drama from now on, I promise
To focus solely on handling my responsibilities as a father
So I solemnly swear to always treat this roof, like my daughters
And raise it, you couldn't lift a single shingle on it!
Cause the way I feel, I'm strong enough to go to the club
Or the corner pub, and lift the whole liquor counter up
Cause I'm raising the bar
I'd shoot for the moon but I'm too busy gazing at stars
I feel amazing and I'm...

300-Word Reflection

What I learned in media literacy? I learned that media is the best way to get information out. It’s a great way to start a potation, and you will get the word out fast and easier. There is so many ways that media can be traveled through like the radio, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. I learned that a cute puppy is a great way to advertise Budweiser. It gets people’s attention because the dog and horse are attracted to each other so love can not separate them apart just like a man and his Budweiser. i am going to take the précis guide line with me to college because I know that my professors will love the way my teacher taught it to use. This class is different from other classes because this class teachers you what you need to know for life and other classes teach you the same s**t each year. One of the most important things to teenagers, especially in this generation, is appearance. According to the prestigious and well known Urban Dictionary, zoolandering is the act of repeatedly checking yourself out in the mirror and making sure you look hot at every possible angle. I learned how to persuade people and use the website smore and schoology. Wordle is a bunch of words that are combined together and make a pictures of all the words used. The book 1984 is almost like the world and the word is messed up by the way the government is watching us. I made Eminem’s song go along with the book 1984. Everyone has to be not afraid and stand up for your self’s. I think that this is a good song for the movie because Winston is not afraid to take a step and make a difference in his life. I liked this class better then my old language arts classes so I recommend taking this better then 9th through 11th grade.
