Being an active listener and sending clear messages. Your body language and attitudes. Here are 8 Elements of Communication:
Self-Awareness
First step in creating what you want and mastering your life. Having the ability to recognize yourself as an individual. The perception of your personality, strengths, weaknesses, thoughts, beliefs, motivation and emotions. Having a high emotional intelligence.
Self-Acceptance
Satisfaction and happiness with oneself. Good mental health. Self understanding of one's strengths and weaknesses. Able to embrace all facets of ourselves. Recognizes our weaknesses and limitations.
Motivation
The desire to do things. Setting and attaining goals. The energy in people to be committed to a job. Results from conscious and unconscious factors.
Trust
Do what is expected. It starts at the family and grows to others. Relationships between people.
Self-Disclosure
Revealing what you feel, think, or want. Sharing intimate secrets about yourself with another person. Feeling a sense of closeness to others. Promotes attraction.
Conflict Resolution
Communicating by telling each other their intentions and reasons for holding certain beliefs. Emotional resolution- how the person feels about conflict, emotional energy. Behavioral resolution- how one thinks the other acts, their behavior.
